Note: When you approach a potential advisor for advice and a signature, please realize that since it may have been a while since he or she advised an STS B.A. major, you may have to remind her or him about the criteria to be satisfied by each STS Thematic Concentration package. They are: minima of 5 courses and 20 units; at least one Foundational and one Advanced course; an intellectual center of gravity in a specific discipline; and the course package must be conducive to obtaining progressive competence in the area of concentration.
