Successful STS Seminar Series
Continues this Academic Year

Stanford's Seminar in Science, Technology, and Society is continuing in the academic year 2007-08. The seminar, which began in Spring 2006, features prominent speakers from around the nation addressing diverse themes such as the influence of information infrastructures on reputation and social justice, the assessment of emerging technologies, disaster response, and climate change.
Speakers typically speak for 30-40 minutes, followed by a brief comment and then open discussion. The seminar meets selected Fridays at noon in Encina Hall East (brown bag lunch; drinks and snacks provided).
