Derechos, Stanford’s Latino pre-law society, is an organization for students who are interested in attending law school or want to learn about the various graduate school opportunities available to them upon graduation. The group is devoted to encouraging Latino students to consider law as a potential career for the future. In addition to this objective, we serve as a resource for the general pre-law community, and welcome students of all backgrounds to participate in our events. Some of our activities include: workshops about the law school admissions process, a winter mentorship program, a speaker series, and volunteering at non-profit organizations in the Bay Area.
