About

The SHPRC is committed to providing sexual health resources and peer counseling to Stanford students. We’re entirely student-run and funded, and all of our supplies and information are either free or insanely cheap. Drop by the center for all you need to know about sex.

Products and Library

The center carries a huge variety of goodies, from tons of different types of condoms, to massage oil,  to a huge book selection. Check out our Products and Library page to see a price list for the products we sell and a list of the books in our extensive library. Then come to Vaden and pick stuff out!

Outreaches

SHPRC offers outreach programs for residences and student groups. Topics include birth control methods, pregnancy alternatives, and sexually transmitted infections. See the blog for upcoming events, or the contact page for more information on how to arrange an outreach.

Become a counselor!

To become a counselor, you must complete the training course, Education 193S: Peer Counseling on Comprehensive Sexual Health (1 unit). The class is usually taught on Tuesday 7-9pm, on the second floor of Vaden. To register for the class, go to the first class meeting at sign up with the instructors. Check Axess for the most up to course information. At some point either before or concurrent with your first quarter staffing at the center, you must also take Education 193A: Bridge Peer Counseling (2 units). Email Anjali, anjalid (at) stanford.edu if you have any questions about staffing at the center.
