The Utilities High Volt Department is responsible to provide temporary power for construction sites as well as permanent electrical service to new buildings and/or existing buildings being renovated with an increased electrical demand.
It is imperative that the Project Architect/Engineer/Contractor with design/ built responsibilities complete and submits the asterisk items as indicated in the Electric Service and Generator Application. Completed Applications can be submitted to the designated Utilities Rep in the Project Kickoff Meeting, or emailed to the System Manager..
The information on this sheet shall be updated accordingly in the design/ development phase of the project and shall be finalized prior to the first Design Review submittal.
The Utilities High Volt Department is also responsible for the Maintenance & Operation of the majority of parking lot lights and walkway/path lights on Campus.
It is imperative that the Project Architect/Engineer/Contractor with design/built responsibilities complete and submit the asterisk items as indicated in the Street Lights Service Application. Completed applications can be submitted to the designated Utilities Rep in the Project Kickoff Meeting, or emailed to the High Voltage Operational System Supervisor.
