Alternate Access to OAE During Construction

Beginning Monday, May 7, 2007, the following pedestrian routes to the OAE in the Student Services Building will be closed due to construction of the Munger Graduate Residences:

  • Salvatierra Walk from the Law School to the Student Services Building
  • Alvarado Road from Stern Hall to Campus Drive
  • Nathan Abbott Way is permanently closed to vehicles

These routes will remain closed until approximately summer of 2009. The OAE is still accessible from the Campus Drive side. Visitors are advised to take one of the following alternative routes:

  • Arguello Mall to Campus Drive
  • Lane A to Campus Drive
  • Mayfield Avenue to Campus Drive

Disabled parking spaces behind the Student Services Building can be accessed from Campus Drive.

The OAE is located on the first floor of 563 Salvatierra Walk, also known as the Student Services Building. The building is located along Campus Dr. East, across from the Haas Center for Community Service.

 

Directions from Highway 101

  • Take the Embarcadero Road (West) exit.
  • Embarcadero Road will become Galvez Road after crossing El Camino Real onto campus.
  • Take a left onto Campus Drive East (1st stop sign).
  • Take a right onto Mayfield Avenue.
  • Take a right into the Tressider Union parking lot and park. (Note: These are paid visitor spaces.)
  • Walk east, behind the Braun Music Center and towards Kresge Auditorium.
  • Turn right onto Lane A heading toward Campus Drive East.
  • Turn left onto Campus Drive East.
  • The Student Services Building is on the right, directly across the lawn from the Haas Center.

Directions from Highway 280

  • Take the Page Mill Road (East) exit.
  • Take a left onto Junipero Serra Boulevard (2nd light).
  • Take a right onto Campus Drive East (2nd light).
  • Take a left onto Mayfield Avenue.
  • Take a right into the Tressider Union parking lot and park. (Note: These are paid visitor spaces.)
  • Walk east, behind the Braun Music Center and towards Kresge Auditorium
  • Turn right onto Lane A heading toward Campus Drive East.
  • Turn left onto Campus Drive East.
  • The Student Services Building is on the right, directly across the lawn from the Haas Center.
