If a new student mentions having a disability in the admissions process, the admissions office, with the student's permission, notifies the DRC of the student's acceptance to the university. A DRC staff member will then contact the student to inquire about his or her accommodations and academic adjustment needs.

Students who do not mention having a disability during the admissions process may contact the DRC at any time, if they require academic adjustments or assistance securing accessible housing. Students who will require services may be asked to submit professional documentation of their disabilities to the DRC.

We are developing a checklist for initiating services with the DRC.
