• To provide quality meeting services (including space, set-ups, technical equipment, food, etc.) for the campus community.
  
• To emphasize activities sponsored by student organizations or other offices or department that primarily serve students and the Stanford community.
  
• To provide access for the greatest number of departments/student groups possible through a first-come, first-serve policy.
  
• To encourage programs and activities that have broad general appeal to students as opposed to closed activities or ongoing meetings, through the use of advanced quarter scheduling.
