Information
SCHEDULING
All requests must be made in writing. You can make your request
online or by fax.
CATERING
Stanford Catering provides a full range of food. For detailed menus
and prices, contact the Catering Manager at (650) 725-1503. Skirting
for non-catering tables at Tresidder is available with advance
ordering through Stanford and Events & Labor Services at
(650) 723-2285.
FURNITURE
Room fees include complete room setup using in-stock tables
and chairs. Audio-visual, special items, electrical or telephone
hookups, etc., will have additional fees assessed.
PAYMENT OF FEES
A deposit fee is required within 6 - 8 weeks of booking and
will be stated on the reservation form(s). Any remaining fees
will be invoiced after the event. The room(s) will not be
confirmed until the deposit is paid. If the deposit is not
paid with the stated deadline date, the room(s) will be released,
with applicable cancellation fees owed.
CANCELLATIONS
When scheduling Oak lounge or Cypress lounge you have 30 days
from the date you reservation was confirmed to cancel your
reservation. If you do not cancel your reservation after 30
days, you will be charged FULL ROOM FEES. If you make
the request within 30 days of your event, full fees will apply.
When room fees apply to the other rooms, as $40.00
processing fee will be assessed if the event is canceled after
tentative booking has been made. If you do not cancel WITHIN
30 days of your event, full room fees will apply.

SPECIAL
FEES and SERVICES
AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT
Audio-visual equipment is available for rental. Equipment
is provided on a first request basis. Equipment rental costs
are $50.00 each for any of the following items.
- Podium with Microphone
- VCR and 25" Monitor
- Slide Projector and Screen
- Overhead Projector and Screen
- Flipchart
- Easel
- 6' x 8' Riser

Costs for special needs such as electrical or telephone hookups
are the responsibility of the client.
EARLY OPENING/LATE CLOSING
For access to a room before or after daily meeting room hours,
a $20/hour fee (for any part of an hour thereof) will be assessed.
Advance approval from Meeting Services is required.
LATE REQUESTS
If needs requiring personnel response from Meeting Services
is received less than 24 hours in advance of the event,
a fee of $20 per request may be assessed in addition to other
applicable fees.

INFORMATION
AIR CONDITIONING
Although Tresidder Union is usually air conditioned, meeting
room temperatures may vary. We suggest you wear layered clothing
just to make sure you will be comfortable, particularly in
the summer.
LOADING
A ramp is located at the southwest corner of the building
on Lagunita Drive for easy loading. An elevator is also available
from the back patio and loading dock area. Arrangements for
use of the area must be made at the time of scheduling.
PARKING
A metered parking lot is available on Lagunita Drive, adjacent
to Tresidder Union. It is patrolled M-F, 7:00am - 4:00pm.
If you forget to bring quarters, there is a change machine
in the Recreation Center, located on the first floor.
ELECTRICAL SERVICE
Any large or specialized electrical needs must be discussed
well in advance with Meeting Services. It is the responsibility
of the client to pay all charges directly.
SECURITY
Although all rooms can be locked, the security and safety
of equipment of materials while on the premises is the liability
of the user.
