Political : Ansaf Kareem, akareem@
Create awareness about important affairs and contemporary political/social/economic issues in the Muslim world (such as Afghanistan, Kashmir, Palestine, Bosnia, Confronting Terrorism, Women's Rights in Saudia Arabia, Iraq, etc).

Social/Cultural: Anum Afzal, aafzal@
Raises awareness about the diversity of Muslim culture across the Muslim and non-Muslim World and the state of Muslims in different continents through cultural dinners and collaboration with cultural organizations (SOCC, SASA, etc). Includes VSO Collaboration

Publicity & PR: Kameelah Rasheed, krasheed@
Present a positive image for MSAN and Muslims at Stanford and beyond and orchestrate MSAN's presence on campus. Includes organizing Op-Ed campaigns, running MSAN's election campaigns, lead advertising for events, obtaining cosponsorships and funding and maintaining relations with campus organizations. Department head is also responsible for flier creation and distribution.

Spiritual : TBA
Aspires to create a dialogue about the unity and diversity among Muslims and Muslim practices worldwide and to explore "What is Islam". Sample events may include Abraham Across Faiths, Mysticism across faiths, Jews in Islamic History, Islamic Pluralism, etc. Also charged with maintaining relations with other campus religious groups.

The goal is to promote awareness about the basics of Islam and organize the month-long Islam Awareness series (sample issues include Islam 101, Islamic Theology, etc.)

Maintain an updated, comprehensive website that presents a positive face of our organization to the outside world. Responsibilities include updated the site, posting events online, etc.
