Welcome Class of 2012!

MEChA de Stanford would like to welcome the Class of 2012 to the Stanford Familia!

MEChA has many incredibly exciting events for 2008-2009. Join us as MEChA de Stanford as celebrates its 40th Anniversary. Since 1969, MEChA de Stanford has been cultivating familia, cultura, and promoted justicia to the very issues that plague Chican@s/Latin@s and other communities of color locally and nationally. Among the most important issues MEChA continues to advocate for is youth empowerment through education, which is why MEChA sponsor the annual Raza Day Youth Conference in which over 300 students throughout the Bay Area and beyond are educated about college and social issues.

Consider being part of change in your community at Stanford and beyond - this is why many of us are here. For this reason, MEChA de Stanford believes that La union hace la fuerza - In unity we find strength.

If you have any questions, please contact any one of the officers.
