Thanks for your very kind letter of January 4, making inquiry concerning my availability to serve on a committee to see President Dwight D. Eisenhower for a conference. I can assure you that I will be more than happy to serve on this committee. I think it will serve to meet a real need at this period in our nation's history. Please feel free to keep me informed on details as they develop. If you have any idea of the approximate date of the conference at this time, I would appreciate your letting me know.
