Welcome to the Zeta Chapter of alpha Kappa Delta Phi (αΚΔΦ), Stanford's first and the nation's largest and most established Asian American interest sorority. aKDPhi is officially recognized by the College Panhellenic Association and strives to promote sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, and Asian American awareness while encouraging the expression of the individual. Stanford aKDPhi was founded in 1993 and is a part of a strong sisterhood that consists of 48 chapters nationwide. This website provides an inside look of the sisters of Stanford aKDPhi and a glimpse of one of the nation's fastest growing sororities.

Challah for Hunger - February 21, 2013
Along with the rest of the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC), KDPhi volunteered braided, baked, and sold challah.

Cards that Care - February 19, 2013
KDPhi hosted our annual service event to make cards for victims of domestic abuse.

Electric KD Carnival - February 9, 2013
This year, our campus-wide party's theme was "Electric KD Carnival." We hope you enjoyed the party and grabbed one of our kandi bracelets!

Lunch with Helen Zia - February 2, 2013
Stanford KDPhis and SYZs were able to sit down and have a special lunch with Helen Zia, a notable Asian American journalist, lawyer, and scholar as a part of AASA's "Listen to the Silence" Conference. She talked about her journey from college to journalism, and reminded girls that even dropping out of med school taught her wonders about herself and what she was really passionate about.

Stanford KDPhi's 20th Year Anniversary - January 29, 2013
Here's to twenty AMAZING years at Stanford, and another twenty-years full of sisterhood! Thank you to all our alums who helped build this sisterhood and to all our externals and internals who have supported us through the years.

Sisterhood Day - January 26, 2013
To kick off the quarter, we spent a day off campus painting manicures, playing Wii, and drinking boba.

We celebrated the end of the year and our last house meeting of 2012 with Secret Santa.

Northwest Sisterhood hosted at Stanford - November 3, 2012
What happens when you put over 100 KDPhis from Northern California and Washington together in a room? Lots of speed dating, ice breakers, shopping, food, and mixers! We were so excited to host our Northwest Sisterhood this fall and to get to spend more time with our sisters off-campus.

Upsilon Class Installs and Phi Class Presents - October 12, 2012

Boba for Boobs - October 3, 2012
To kick off National Breast Cancer Awareness month, KDPhi hosted Boba for Boobs and raised over $1000 for research into the prevention and cure of breast cancer.

Upsilon Class Crossing - May 2012

Spring Formal - May 18, 2012
We celebrated an amazing school year with an end-of-the-year formal at the Palo Alto Westin.

KDPhi Convention - May 2012
With over 48 chapters internationally and 4,500 sisters worldwide, our members got the chance to meet and bond with the other KDPhis around the world during our annual convention. We had an amazing weekend and definitely felt the warm southern hospitality from University of Houston aKDPhi.

KDPhi's Annual Campus-wide Party - February 25, 2012
This year, KDPhi's campus-wide party was co-hosted with Stanford's Lambda Phi Epsilon. We had an amazing time with our Jersey Shore theme!
