the inter-sorority council (isc)
is the governing board for six of Stanford’s sororities:

pi beta phi
as a council, we strive to promote positive
relations and dialogue between our member chapters by organizing philanthropic,
social, and other events for all stanford greek women. we also work with the
inter-fraternity council, multicultural greek
council, and african american
fraternal and sororal association to put on events
that are of interest to the entire greek community.
so far this year, we have hosted a big game tailgate with the
inter-fraternity council, sponsored isc night at
flicks and varsity volleyball games, and helped make stanford’s
first annual greek formal become a reality. we are also pleased to welcome a new chapter, alpha epsilon
phi, to the stanford greek
community.
RECRUITMENT:
stanford’s sororities
participate in new member recruitment during the spring of each year. in order to ensure that prospective members are introduced
to all of our chapters and are able to make an informed decision about which
chapter is best for them, all six isc sororities
participate in recruitment together.
