The Stanford Project team received an enormous amount of assistance while conducting this study. Our research was sponsored by the U.S. Agency for International Development and the government of Indonesia under a contract between BAPPENAS and Stanford University titled "Food Policy and Rural Income Generation," dated July 24, 1986.
