EV Cycling and Wine Tour in Livermore Saturday, October 18th, 11:00am-6:00pm Signup deadline: Tuesday, October 14th Do you like wine? And what better way to get a feel for wine country than to bike between vineyards. Join your EV neighbors for a cycling and wine tour through the little-known Livermore Valley. We will make the short drive to Livermore (as opposed to hours to get to Napa) and then leave the cars for a meandering afternoon ride with occasional stops at the numerous vineyards. A lunch of bread, cheese and veggies will be provided at the first winery. This is a great introduction to wine without all the big-name traffic and hassle. A minimal level of fitness is required since there are rolling hills, but everyone can go at their own pace and we won't try to cover much ground. You will need to bring your own bikes, though we will attempt to carpool. Space is limited, so reply ASAP. Small numbers of friends are welcome. Drivers with bike racks get priority. See http://www.livermorewine.com/ for more information. Email mfiller@stanford.edu to RSVP. More details and release forms will follow. Thanks! Brought to you by the EV Outdoors/Sports Committee ------------------------------------------------------ 6.
