General Info: Neighborhood Noise/Smoke Complaints FYI: Quiet hours in Escondido Village are observed after 11pm Sunday through Thursday, and after 1am on Friday and Saturday. Provide assistance to the Assistant Director of Residential Education in the coordination and facilitation of training of theme and focus associates. This includes planning the logistics of the training, arranging speakers, etc. for Fall and in-service training. Provide administrative support in the selection process of theme and focus associates. Work with the Director of Residential Education to schedule and plan the agenda for quarterly meetings with Resident Fellows and Faculty Affiliates who are working within theme and language/culture residences. Provide assistance with the theme house staffs to design and market priority housing assignment requirements as it relates to living in the residence as well as recruiting and retaining students. Other Notes Opportunities include working in Residential Education cooperatively with the Language Center, Undergraduate Advising, as well as with University faculty and staff. Quarterly stipend of $2000 is offered. Approximate weekly commitment is 15-20 hours variable. Bachelor's degree required. Stanford Ballroom Dance Club Fall Lineup It's a new quarter and the Stanford Ballroom Dance Club has a new line-up of dance classes with new instructors! The Stanford Ballroom Dance Club (SBDC) differs from the Stanford Ballroom Dance Team (SBDT) in that our goal is to promote social dancing rather than competitive/exhibition dancing. Beginners are welcome!
