Dear new residents,
Welcome to Studio 2, and if this is your first year on campus, welcome to Stanford! The Studio 2 Community Associates wish you a great year in our building, and are looking forward to meeting you soon during one of our welcome events (the details are below).
In the meantime, we hope that this website will be a useful resource. We are still working on adding new features, which should become available in the next few days. In the meantime, you can already check out a plan of the building, read some useful information about various emergencies, and our frequently asked questions section. Also, please read some important information on how to avoid fire alarms when cooking.
We have also set up a Facebook group for all 2008-09 Studio 2 residents.
Studio 2 is a graduate student residence building on the Stanford University campus, located near the intersection of Campus Drive and Escondido Road. Studio 2 is part of Escondido Village, which is split into different neighborhoods. This website has been created by the 2008-09 Community Associates (CAs) of the Studio 2 neighborhood, Nanna, Marc and Christina. CAs organize fun events for the neighborhood, such as BBQs, movie nights, study breaks and trips - really whatever you and us feel like doing! The goal of this website is to provide the Studio 2 residents with an overview of upcoming events, as well as an extensive list of pointers to useful resources.
