PAST WORKING GROUP MEETINGS AND PRESENTATIONS

Data Development:
To access the non-CO2 data sets which include reference emissions from 1990 to 2020 and marginal abatement curves (MACs), including the new Agricultural mitigation estimates, or the new results from the Sinks (Terrestrial Sequestration) subgroup, please follow the links below.

One of the decisions made at the May 2002 meeting was to include, to the extent possible, forestry and agricultural sequestration (sinks) data. A sequestration sub-group has been working on data specification and methodological issues and will report at the December 2002 meeting.

Study Update and Priority Scenarios
The study update and priority scenarios are provided in the following Word file:

The reporting templates are provided in the following zipped file for download: The spreadsheet below provides guidance on the new forcing target for the study. It contains forcings to 2100 for various other gases that some models might not have and allows for the target to be adjusted in order to make as appropriate comparisons as possible. Thanks to Steve Smith and Detlef van Vuuren for putting this together.
Global and regional emission results from Long-term models are posted for use by Short-term models for the priority scenarios. These results are based on the long-term climate target and reported as totals for all GHG emissions in MMTCE.
