Stomp is a classic mix of rhythm and dance that has become a sensation wherever it has visited. Stomp, the international percussion sensation now in its sixth sold-out year at New York's Orpheum Theatre, has chosen San Francisco as the site of its first sit-down company outside of New York.

Time: Tuesday - Friday at 8 PM; Saturday at 5 & 9 PM; Sunday at 3 & 7 PM
Admission: $35 - $40 on Tuesday - Thursday; $40 - $45 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday matinees; $25 on Sunday evenings

Digital Mural by Alma Lopez

Galer'a is unveiling its latest in a series of digital murals, featuring the work of acclaimed L.A. based digital artist, Alma Lopez. Lopez is at the forefront of Latino/a digital art making. In her work, she searches for new directions in Latino/a art by recontextualizing traditional Mexican and Chicano/a icons and re-articulating queer Latino/a politics and desire to mainstream cultures.

Hip Hop/Funk Ensemble Class

La Pena Cultural Center, Berkeley

Instructor: Josh Jones. Class will work on live break beats - free style and improvisation - as well as work on programming beats. Open to all instrumentalists and vocalists.
