The CBPA offers technical assistance to individual students, student and community groups for performance projects. Assistance is available in the form of artistic consultation and direction, securing production equipment and project funding. Groups that have used our technical assistance include the Kuumba Dance Ensemble, the Umoja Fashion Show and the annual STANFUNK cabaret.

Grants in the range of $100-$300 are available for student productions. Proposals should be submitted to the CBPA Director on or before the beginning of the quarter in which the production will take place. Proposals should be one or two pages and consist of a project description delineating the purpose and intended audience, and a budget. The CBPA has funded a range of productions, including films, dance recitals, original plays and performance art.
