Kim Fowler

Program & Development Coordinator

Kim Fowler is the Program & Development Coordinator for the Committee on Black Performing Arts. She has extensive experience in arts administration, including five years Assistant Administrator of the Hotel Tax Fund (now Grants for the Arts) for the City of San Francisco. She was the Executive Director of Theater Artaud from 1987-90, and has served as a consultant to such organizations as Theater Bay Area, World Arts West, Robert Henry Johnson Dance Company and the Center for the Arts. Ms. Fowler is also a singer, writer and actress who has authored solo works and performed with such groups and artists as the Blake Street Hawkeyes, Shakiri's Rootworkers, John Dykers, Robert Ernst, Loose Canons, Music in the Blood and Big Mouth Ensemble.
