Zito
(formerly Tuck/Lipps)

ADOPTED 08/03/2002

Zito was adopted by Jennifer! She says "Zito and Casper are best friends already and Zito is tolerating Yogi (the puppy). I'm trying to teach them to play together since Yogi's version is to chase and Zito's version is to smack. Zito is still a snuggler, especially at 4:30 am. He likes to cuddle around my neck and put his nose on my neck. Here are two pictures I've taken of him."

ADOPTED 07/28/2002

Braveheart was adopted by Eavan and her parents. They say "Had to let you know...Braveheart has got to be the most tolerant, loving, mellow kitten that I have ever met. Eavan has wanted to show her to all her friends and this wonderful little kitten has not complained one time about all the laps and arms she has been in. She is also becoming more playful with the boys which is very exciting to them. The whole family (even the dog) is glad that she has come to live with us. Thanks again!"

Spiderman
(formerly Sandy)

ADOPTED 07/24/2002

Sandy was adopted by Robert. He reports "Over the weekend, we made a LOT of progress. I'll start with the baby. I just held him as much as possible. I also provided him a place where he feels really safe. It's a scratching post, and he can go inside. It's like a little teepee. On Saturday, he finally relaxed, and took a nice nap in my hands. Then, he finally purred. Then he started licking my chin, neck, and ears. The purring increased a lot, and now he's not afraid to get picked up (no more hissing) and he purrs when I hold him.

Ally (formerly Rumpelteaser)

ADOPTED 07/10/2002

Ally was adopted by Kaelen. Kaelin says "Just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you that the kitten we adopted from you is doing very well. We decided to call her Ally since she was born in an alley. She visited the vet today for another booster and a physical--she's 3 1/2 pounds now and getting bigger all the time!

She is absolutely adorable and affectionate and you made a good match. We have so many kitten toys around that we often step on them or kick them across the floor! She's also very entertaining and her favorite toy is a bird we've hung off of her scratching post. (We're very cautious about the toys we give her thanks to your warnings and recommendations.)
All is well here and she's a wonderful addition to our family. Thanks again!"

Izzy

ADOPTED 04/09/2002

Izzy was adopted by Anne, who says: "The lovely Iz turns out to be exuberant once out of the kennel! She's a good roommate, very affectionate, loves to be brushed, talks happily to me while I get dressed in the morning, and doesn't utter a peep all night when I'm trying to sleep. She curls up nicely on my feet and stays put until I am clearly awake for real. She's been introduced to the upstairs only so far, but seems to be pretty content with the many places available to explore."
