Fluff & family

ADOPTED 10/30/2002

Fluff was adopted by Marjorie and her family! they report "I just thought you might like to know how little fluff is doing..... after 24hours she's pretty remarkable! She was handled almost continuously yesterday evening, and spent some time in the playpen. By last night she had figured out how to climb out of it, even with a heavy blanket on top. We figured this meant she was ready to do some exploring, which we allowed under close supervision.. Anyway, thanks again for all your time - I think she's going to be a great kitty! Oh, we've been thinking of different names for her, and so far the girls like Kahlua, even though they have no idea what kahlua and cream is! (they just think it sounds pretty)."

(formerly Miss Paws)

ADOPTED 10/28/2002

Miss Paws adopted Debra!

Gracie

ADOPTED 10/26/2002

Gracie was adopted by Cindy!

Maitri

ADOPTED 10/25/2002

Maitri was adopted by Liz! Liz says "I'm happy to report that Maitri is doing very well. She has made her self at home. She's decided that she likes to sleep in the middle of the bed, and she makes frequent visits to the food bowl. She won't be skinny for long. She enjoys sitting on our laps and has been playful and accepting of our other cat. She's also not rattled by the dog at all. Overall, it seems like she has lived with us for years, not just a couple of days. Once she plumps up a bit I will send some pictures for the Happy Tails section of the website. Thanks again for your help, she's a little sweetie!"

Moses & Caleb
with Anne

ADOPTED TOGETHER 09/26/2002

Moses and Caleb were adopted together by Anne! The cats had not met eachother before their adoption, but we thought they'd be a good match. And we couldn't have guessed better! Anne writes "After 4 days, Moses and Caleb (formerly Cyrano) have taken over the house and become inseparable. They even are comfortable staying in the same room as 7 of us visiting and watching TV. Moses is the king of the kitty condos but Caleb is the king of the food bowls. Thank you Stanford Cat Network for bringing joy back into my life. I love my guys!!!"

Annabel & Frankie

ADOPTED TOGETHER 09/21/2002

Annabel and Frankie were adopted together by Kathleen! She reports "Those monsters! :-) One of them, possibly both, was chewing on my toes last night while I was trying to sleep. The house is littered with torn-up newspapers, toilet paper, and magazines. They have now claimed my chair in the living room and they have decided that clothes hanging up to dry are their toys. You should see Frankie leap on Annabel from the kittie tower. And Anabell lose traction and skid as she runs down the hallway! They have gone to Disneyland!"

Snowflake

ADOPTED 09/18/2002

Snowflake was adopted by Katie!

Mercury

ADOPTED 08/31/2002

Mercury was adopted by Lisa, who wrote: "Mercury is sitting here watching me on the computer. He's doing great, he's such a good boy. He uses the litter box and seems to be happy here. He's so loving. he really has a good personality for such a small kitten. As for my 14 year old cat, she just watches him run back and forth in the living room and she minds her own business. Mercury just started teasing her the other day. His ride to Marysville was pretty good he just slept in his cage. He has lots of toys and he runs back and forth playing with them. Everytime I come home all his toys are turned upside down. He doesn't want me to stop petting him. He chases my hand or he'll climb up me and with his little quiet meow he'll let me know that he doesn't want me to stop. he cracks me up. I'll sit on the ground in the room and he is giving me kisses and I'll say get the ball and he'll give the ball one swish and he's right back giving me kisses. Well guess that's it for now!"

Jasper
(formerly Jersey)

ADOPTED 08/12/2002

Jersey was adopted by Sarah and Brian. He'll join 2 other black cats adopted last year from SCN. Sarah and Brian love black cats for their sleek beauty but they also know that black cats have the hardest time finding homes so they try to compensate for that!
