Founded in 1852, the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is America's oldest national engineering society! It represents more than 133,000 members of the civil engineering profession worldwide. ASCE's vision is to position engineers as global leaders building a better quality of life. Comprised of Regional Councils, Younger Member Councils, Sections, Branches, Student Chapters and Clubs and International Student Groups, the Society and its volunteers are fully engaged in making this a better world by design.

Concrete canoe competition
Join the Stanford Concrete Canoe Team! Build a full-length canoe out of concrete and compete against other schools in April!
Come to our meetings Wednesdays 9pm in Y2E2 Red Atrium (near Coupa Cafe).

ASCE T-Shirt Design
Shirt design should be Civil Engineering related and incorporate something like: "Stanford ASCE, 09-10; American Society of Civil Engineers, Stanford Chapter", somewhere on it. Winner gets a $20 Coupa Cafe gift card! Submit designs to Sarah at schan4@stanford.edu. Winning design will be announced beginning of Winter Quarter.
