Please join Mr. Bill Dasher and Mr. Jason Pisano from DASSE Design Inc. to learn about what a new graduate would do in his/her role as a new staff engineer in a consulting structural engineering firm in the Bay area. Bill and Jason will share with us what Structural Engineering firms do (using DASSE as an example) with examples of projects and some of the technical challenges they face on a day- to -day basis. Jason will discuss the transition from academia to the professional world from the interview process, the "first" day, to the day- to- day activities of a young staff engineer. He will talk about the continued learning opportunities, as well as technical and extracurricular activities. Come enjoy the excitement of our profession!
