The Alternative Spring Break (ASB) Program exposes students to complex social and cultural issues through community visits, experiential learning, direct service, group discussion, readings, and reflection activities. Our vision is to transform students into advocates of social change on issues affecting our communities.

Connect with more than concepts: Lead an ASB or TGB!

The Alternative Spring Program is looking for amazing individuals to co-lead ASB and TGB trips . Leading a trip is an amzing opportunity to get more individuals on campus interested in an area you care deeply about and to develop as a leader.    The application for the 2014-15 ASB & TGB program is now available and the deadline is April 21st at 11:59 PM.

Applications will be open until November 4th at 11:59p.m. You can apply to up to 3 of the amazing trips being offered this year. If you would like to learn more please explore this website, email us at asb@stanford.edu, or stop by our Info session on October 22nd at 7 p.m. in the Haas Center. 

ThanksGiving Back 2013-2014 Applications are now closed. ASB applications to open October 18th!

 TGB applications are now closed. Thank you to everyone that applied. Application results should be available the week of October 27th.  

For those of you that missed the deadline concsider applying to an ASB. Applicatons will be opening October 18th and there are 15 amazing trips to choose from.
