APO Spring Sectionals 2008 is now over! Thanks to all who came out! - Myles, 3/27/08
Who: Each chapter chooses one person to represent them as the Ugly Man. Each chapter also chooses a charity which they will represent.
What: Each chapter must first submit a mug shot of their contestants (making his/her ugliest face possible) and a small snippet on why the chapter's charirty should be supported by February 22nd to zetasectionals08@gmail.com. This will be compiled and set around to all chapters before Sectionals on March 1, 2008. During the actual Ugly Man Pageant, each contestant will perform a talent and answer a Q&A round. The contestants are then voted on by the audience (you!).
How: Making a positive vote is a donation of either a NICKEL or a ONE DOLLAR BILL (you must have exact change). A negative vote is a donation of either a QUARTER or a FIVE DOLLAR BILL (once again, exact change is needed). You may also submit other denominations as donations but they will NOT be counted as votes. Voting will occur immediately after the Ugly Man Pageant, so make sure to have the right change or bills handy.
The contestant with the most overall votes (positive - negative = overall) will have all the money donated to that chapter's charity.
Charities must be approved beforehand by Zeta chapter. Thus the "Jen Perry Fund" would not be an acceptable charity, for example.
