Brown Bag Seminars

Each quarter, WorkLife provides Brown Bag seminars to support the community in navigating the demands of work and life. Since January 2010, through a collaboration with BeWell, Stanford Employees can receive one Healthy Living Berry for attending WorkLife Brown Bag.

Financial Assistance Programs

The Worklife Office provides 5 financial assistance programs for Stanford employees. Eligibility and Requirements vary by program.  Please see each individual program for more information. You must be a Stanford employee.

Summer Activities and Camps

Do you know what your child will be doing this summer? WorkLife offers an annual Summer Activities Fair in March to provide parents with an array of local choices and in-person contact with camp vendors.


 

Maternity/Expectant Parents

Child on the way? WorkLife staff will meet one-on-one with expectant parents and provide a Child Care Packet plus Maternity Resource List and First 5 New Parent Kit. Also, please check our lending library in the Escondido Village Resource Room to borrow books on maternity, childbirth, breastfeeding and child development.

School Age Resources

Work Life provides information on school age care, activities for teens and youth and summer programs. A Summer Activities Faire is held annually in March to provide more specific information to the community. The Escondido Village Family Resource Room offers additional resources for teens and a lending library of books about school age and teen development and issues.

Other Resources

The Worklife Office offers programs and services in seven different areas from birth to end of life. WorkLife also staffs a satellite office in Escondido Village to provide in-person resource and referral through the expertise of our Child and Family Resource Coordinator. the CFRC manages the Escondido Village Family Resource Room containing a lending library on all WorkLife topics..
