Financial Assistance for Employees
Financial Programs

Through the WorkLife Office, Stanford provides five financial programs to eligible employees to help offset the costs of childcare, back-up eldercare and adoption. Please visit Financial Programs to learn about eligibilty and requirements for the following programs:

  • NEW! Faculty Back-up Care Advantage Program
  • Child Care Subsidy Grant (CCSG) - Up to $5000 tax free per year for eligible employees
  • Junior Faculty Child Care Assistance Program (JFCCAP) - Up to $20,000 taxable per year for eligible faculty
  • Junior Faculty Travel Grant - $500 per year for eligible expenses
  • Adoption Reimbursement -  Up to $10,000 pre adoption for a lifetime limit of two adoptions and $20,000 for eligible employees
  • Emergency / Back-Up Care - 16 hours of subsidized care per year for eligible employees (new 2010-11 program includes eldercare)
