Welcome!

Part of the WorkLife Office mission is to support Stanford community members in all stages of family life. The professional staff at the WLO have training and experience in human and child development, from family planning through adolescence and young adulthood. Our Child and Family Resource Coordinator runs the Escondido Village Family Resource Room and can provide in-person assistance in seeking child care, emergency and crisis services, orientation to campus and local resources, and family friendly events. 

If we don't have the information or resources, it is our commitment to find them for you. WorkLife maintains a lending library of resources for the Stanford community that support our work and services.  The lending library also offers a selection of bilingual and multicultural children's books, available for check-out by parents. A couch and some toys are available to provide parents a comfortable place to sit with a chilld while perusing our library. This can also be used as a place to nurse, or a lactation space for visiting parents.

Hours: Mon, Wed and Friday, 10am-4pm. Call for specific hours or to make sure someone is there - 723-3747. Closed on some Wednesdays for staff meetings.
