Memorial Auditorium

Memorial Auditorium (affectionately known to students as “MemAud”) was dedicated in 1937 to honor Stanford students and faculty who died in World War I. Since then plaques honoring the Stanford Dead of World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam have been installed. The main auditorium seats 1,700 and is the site of many lectures, plays, and musical and dance performances.
