| 1) Go to http://coursework.stanford.edu, log in, and go to the CourseWork site for your course. |
2) Click on "Assignments" in the left navigation. |
3) Click the title of the assignment you are trying to submit. |
4) Press the "Begin Assignment" button. |
5) Click "Choose File" and select the file you wish to submit on your computer. |
6) Press the "Upload" button.

7) Once your file has finished uploading (the name of your file, along with the date you uploaded it and a "Remove" button will be shown underneath the "Choose File" button), press the "Submit for Grading" button to submit your paper for grading.

Directions that you can copy and paste into an email:
- Go to http://coursework.stanford.edu, log in, and go to the CourseWork site for your course.
- Click on "Assignments" in the left navigation.
- Click the title of the assignment you are trying to submit.
- Press the "Begin Assignment" button.
- Click "Choose File" and select the file you wish to submit on your computer.
- Press the "Upload" button.
Note: If you use Macintosh Pages, you will need to convert your document into a Word or pdf document to upload (Coursework does not recognize Pages documents). - Once your file has finished uploading (the name of your file, along with the date you uploaded it and a "Remove" button will be shown underneath the "Choose File" button), press the "Submit for Grading" button to submit your paper for grading.
You will notice a "Save" button also; if you press "Save," your essay will not be submitted to your TF. Make sure to click "Submit for Grading" before the due date of the assignment!
