Candace is originally from New Orleans, and will gladly teach you to pronounce it correctly. She studied philosophy of religion as an undergrad at Princeton, and received her Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Stanford, where she dissertated on selfhood and storytelling in the work of Isak Dinesen.
When she's not thinking really hard about ethics and literature, Candace enjoys karaoke, things created by Joss Whedon, and a good nap.
