Class Diamond Logos

Do you know the significance of the “Class Diamond” logo? These logos are designed in the likeness of the bronze markers covering the class time capsules in the Inner Quad. Hail, Stanford,Hail
Download this mp3 file to learn our alma mater, Hail, Stanford, Hail. Don't know the words? Follow along using the words below as you sing along with Fleet Street.
Where the rolling foothills rise
Up towards mountains higher,
Where at eve the Coast Range lies,
In the sunset fire,
Flushing deep and paling;
Here we raise our voices, hailing
Thee, our Alma Mater
From the Foothills to the bay,
It shall ring,
As we sing,
It shall ring and float away;
Hail, Stanford, hail!
Hail, Stanford, hail!
Stanford History, Tradition, and Lore
Despite its young age, Stanford is rich in history and tradition. Each year, the Stanford Axe Committee publishes the Handbook of Stanford University, a collection of history, tradition, and lore. A printed copy of the Handbook has been mailed to each member of the Class of 2015 and new transfers. In 2011, the Handbook was produced in partnership with the Pringle Fellowship. Here you can find a pdf of the Handbook of Stanford University: History, Tradition, and Lore.
