Stanford volunteer groups
From tutoring local children to performing at area convalescent homes, student groups at Stanford volunteer widely in the local community. The numbers alone testify to this: Each year, approximately 3,000 students engage in more than 96,000 hours of service locally, nationally and internationally. Programs in the following areas are offered through the Haas Center for Public Service and other campus organizations:
