A Royal Renaissance: School of Fontainebleau Prints from the Kirk Edward Long Collection

As part of King Francois I of France's cultural policy, prominent engravers of the time recorded the multimedia ensembles embellishing the king's royal residence at Fontainebleau. Disseminated internationally, their prints publicized the cultural efflorescence that the king had fostered.
