Adrienne Jamieson, the Director of Stanford in Washington, is a political scientist who specializes in American national politics, public policy and the media. She is an Affiliated Professor in the Political Science Department and frequently teaches one of the core seminars at SIW. She also serves as the on-site academic advisor, providing assistance with internship papers, honors theses and plans for graduate school.

 

Adrienne was awarded the Lloyd W. Dinkelspiel Award by Stanford University in June 2005 for her outstanding contribution to undergraduate education at Stanford in Washington.

 

Suzanne Miller is responsible for the overall administration of the program. Before coming to SIW she worked at the Embassy of Japan and on Capitol Hill. She is in charge of student affairs, including financial aid and registration. Suzanne also arranges the cultural events and tours which are among the highlights of the Stanford in Washington experience.

 

Kathryn Cook-Graves serves as Stanford in Washington's financial and facilities manager. She is the former assistant to the director for SIW.

 

Janine Chen is the assistant to the director.  She works with Adrienne and Suzanne in arranging internships, planning cultural events, and providing overall support for the academic program.

 

Marjorie M. Alfs is the on-campus Program Coordinator for Stanford in Washington. Her office is in the Haas Center.
