The
Bass Center, named after Robert M. and Anne T. Bass, is where Stanford
in Washington students live and attend classes. The Bass Center
is a four story brick building on Connecticut Avenue, in the Northwest
quadrant of DC. It is located across the street from the Woodley
Park metro stop, just a few minutes
south of the National Zoo. The Bass Center is ideally located for
commuting to internships and sightseeing. The building contains
student and faculty living space and other facilities including
the Susan J. Rosse Library, the Pigott and Weintz Seminar Rooms,
the Bing Tutorial Room, the Rockefeller Room where students gather
with guest speakers, a student lounge with a big screen television,
a dining room where meals are served, and a garden for reading and
conversation. |
