Can I complete training in less than 2 hours?
No. The law states that the training must be at least 2 hours in length. The online course will slow you down if you are going too quickly, so you will take a minimum of 2 hours to complete the training. Live training sessions, when offered, will take 2 hours and you must stay for the duration.
How do I access the online training?
You will receive an email from LawRoom and SHPO (subject will be: “Required Harassment Training: Registration Info.). It will include your ID and password and instructions how to log on to the online training.
Do I need to complete all 4 parts of the online training?
Yes. You must complete all of the training.
Do I need to inform anyone that I’ve completed the online course or is a record of my completion automatically generated?
A record of completion will be automatically generated once you have finished the course. You do not need to contact the Sexual Harassment Policy Office as we have access to training records. You will receive notification of completion from Lawroom which you may wish to retain for your records.
Do I need to keep my training completion certificate from training when I finish?
Yes. In case there is any discrepancy in our records, it’s a good idea to keep this certificate.
Can I stop the online training and start up again another time?
Yes, this is the advantage of online training. You can stop and start anytime. However, you will need your ID and password to gain access to the LawRoom course each time.
