Harassment Prevention Training
for Non-Supervisory Staff or
Non-Faculty Teaching & Academic Personnel

Non-faculty teaching and academic personnel may be required by their school or administrative unit to complete sexual harassment prevention training within thirty days of employment. This group may include (non-Senior) lecturers, instructors, acting/visiting/consulting professors, research associates, graduate teaching assistants, course assistants, and other academic and research staff such as fellows, visiting fellows, visiting scholars and post doctoral students.

All non-supervisory, non-teaching staff are expected to complete sexual harassment prevention training within six months of employment. In these training programs, participants will learn how to recognize, prevent and address sexual harassment in the academic workplace and will aquaint themselves with campus resources for complaint resolution.

NOTE: Faculty or individuals of any title who supervise other employees must instead complete the state mandated training course that is not offered through STARS.
