Who We Are SCRA’s Year-Round Swim Team participates in “Zone 1 North” (area stretching from northern Santa Clara County to San Mateo County) of the Pacific Swimming Region of USA Swimming, the organization that governs the sport of swimming across the United States. Members of the SCRA year round swim team compete under the banner of the recently formed (Fall 2003) Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics Club (PASA). This community wide squad joins swimmers from many of our summer league opponents; University Club, Foothills, Fremont Hills, and Alpine Hills. In addition, the old Palo Alto Swim Club and members of the Stanford University Women's swim team (who swim for us during the summer) are also unified in PASA - a group that is rapidly becoming a force in swimming at the national and international levels. The PASA team shares an overall philosophy and coaching style while retaining the emphasis on personal attention to each swimmer and the original small team feel of the individual sites. |
