You must inform Housing Assignment Services and the Disability Resource Center regarding plans to go abroad, stop out, or take a leave of absence. You must contact Housing Assignment Services in writing by the deadline to join the Waiting List to confirm your plans to return to campus: Autumn: June 30, 2000 Winter: October 27, 2000 Spring: February 2, 2001 If your disability accommodation request was approved in May and you are guaranteed housing, please be aware that Housing Assignment Services will meet your documented needs when you return from being off campus, however, there is no guarantee that you will be assigned to the same residence, room, or room type. If you drew in a group, you may or may not be assigned to the same residence with your draw group after you return. GROUP MEMBERS: Undergraduates may apply with up to 7 group members with whom they wish to live. Single graduate students who are applying for 2000-01and any single students who are applying for summer housing 2000 may apply with up to 3 group members. By signing this request, group members relinquish their right to participate in the Draw/Lottery/Summer Allocation and agree to be placed with you in the residence to which you are assigned. All University residence rules and regulations apply to both you and all members of your group. ADDITIONAL GROUP INFORMATION FOR UNDERGRADUATES: Every member of the group must have the same preferred year status to apply as a group. Group members who have a guaranteed year remaining must use one to receive an exempt assignment. Group members may not be changed once this request is submitted. If your disability exemption request is approved, you and all members of your group will be assigned to specific rooms according to the residence's room and roommate assignment policies and procedures (typically by participating in the residence's room draw). If as a result of your request and due to your disability needs you are assigned to a specific room or roommate, you (and your roommate, if applicable) do not need to participate in the room draw. However, the other members of your group will need to participate in the residence's room draw to determine their specific room assignments.
