Mirrielees

Mirrielees was built in 1972 and completely renovated in 2001-2002.

Conservation Retrofit Programs

-Summer 2002: Sink aerator and showerheads replaced with low-flow versions. Replacements are expected to save over 12 million gallons of water per year in the undergraduate residences.
- July 2002: Installation of 48 low-flow toilets into Mirrielees B wing.
- July 2001: Installation of 100 low-flow toilets into Mirrielees A and C wings.
- December 1997: In all apartments, replace existing kitchen, entry, living room, sink-area, and bedroom lights with compact fluorescents. Projected savings = 206,717 kWhs annually.
- September 1996: Lights in hallways, stairways, elevators, laundry rooms, TV &game rooms, common-area lounges, restrooms, and computer clusters were changed out to energy-efficient compact fluorescents.
