Summer Housing - Submitting Your Application

 

To apply for University housing through Axess, Stanford's online information system, you will need:

  • To have accepted your offer of admission;

  • Your Stanford University Network ID (SUNet ID) which you can set up at http://accounts.stanford.edu/ (allow one to two working days for processing); and

  • A web browser with cookies and javascript enabled

You may apply for only one type of housing (single undergraduate, single graduate, couple, or student with children) for a given quarter. If your status changes, you must re-apply for housing suitable to your new status.

To log onto Axess:

  • Go to https://axess.stanford.edu. Your browser must have cookies and javascript enabled.

  • Select “Links and Contacts” from the Axess menu bar.

  • Under the Housing & Dining section, select "R&DE Portal".

If you need housing for both Summer and Autumn Quarters, you must submit two applications in Axess.

Updating or Withdrawing Your Application
If you change your mind about your preferences or living on campus, you may update or withdraw your application until the current round’s Application Deadline. You may log into Axess to make changes as necessary.
