Why Give?

Save time while helping the local community and reducing waste! R&DE Student Housing has partnered with local service organizations to make it easy for you to "Give" your unwanted clothing and household items that are in good condition to others who can use them as you move out and "Go" on to your next adventure!

The items you drop off at one of over 80 convenient barrels or trailers in or near your residence will serve hundreds of local people in need through Ecumenical Hunger Program, Goodwill, and InnVision Shelter Network, and reduce waste sent to the landfill. R&DE has also partnered with the Stanford Bookstore so you can donate books to Bridge to Asia at the Bookstore and several other locations marked on the map above.

Give, Go & Win a Thank You Prize!

R&DE Student Housing has partnered with the Office of Sustainability to offer raffle prizes as "Thank You's" for participants. There are three easy opportunities to win:

Pledge to "Give & Go"
Commit to donate your unwanted items to charity by completing the pledge form and spread the word to your friends, and you'll be entered into a raffle to win one of four $50 Amazon gift cards.

Facebook event
Join the Give & Go Facebook event and invite friends or another chance to win!

Give, Sign-in & Go!
You've pledged to donate, invited your friends, and gathered your items.  Now it's time to "Give & Go". Simply drop off your items at your local donation site and confirm you've participated by signing the "Give & Go" donator sheet. A sign-in qualifies you for a raffle entry to win one of five more $50 Amazon gift cards!
