Although Stanford Conferences’ main focus is on residential conferences and camps, Stanford Conferences also offers housing for non-student individuals that will be at Stanford over the summer but will not be attending a housed conference. Housing is also available for Stanford graduate students who need temporary housing at the end of the summer. Summer visitors who will be enrolled in summer courses should see the Student Housing page on Applying for Summer.

Housing for Non-Student Summer Visitors is available from June 23 through August 19, 2012For non-student summer visitors, Stanford Conferences offers studio apartments, 1-bedroom apartments, 2-bedroom family apartments, and private rooms in shared 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom apartments on a space available basis for eligible 2012 summer campus visitors (age 18 and over) who are attending a conference or workshop, studying, working, or conducting research with Stanford faculty, or who are coming to Stanford for some other academic purpose. Please be aware that this housing does not offer all of the amenities of a hotel. Smoking is not allowed in any building or within 20 feet of any building entrance. No pets are allowed. No long-term guests are allowed. |

Housing for Stanford Graduate Students Needing Short-Term Housing is Available from August 14 Through September 13, 2012Housing is available at the end of summer quarter for graduate students needing to arrive on campus before their on-campus room is available for move-in, or as a place to stay while looking for housing off-campus through the Community Housing office. This housing is in an undergraduate residence hall. |
