Welcome to Stanford’s new learning assessment and evaluation website, the University’s location for academic assessment and evaluation-related information. The purpose of the website is to provide faculty and staff with the tools and information necessary to conduct effective assessment and evaluation studies. The site is a work in progress as we continue to grow. Please take the time to browse through the information. Material posted on our site provides the basics on planning, implementation, assessment methodology, and closing the loop. Examples of assessment plans from other universities, sample templates for generating plans and reports, and exercises for developing learning outcomes and grading rubrics are provided.
