We also have several excursions and activities available. The Monday and Tuesday events are intended only for non-participants, since they overlap with talks during conference sessions. PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYMENT TO ICOLS for the following events. Payment will be billed to your room at hotel check-in. Please sign up at least 2 weeks in advance if possible (i.e., by May 25, 2001), since the number of on-site excursion registrations may be limited. Contact ICOLS-secretariat@forsythe.stanford.edu to make changes or cancellations.

Monday, June 11, 2001: Aerial tram to Hidden Peak, guided hike back down (or return on tram). Includes picnic lunch. $30 per person. Round-trip time approximately 2.5 hours.

Wednesday, June 13, 2001: Afternoon excursion to Salt Lake City with guided tour of historic Temple Square (returning in good time for the conference banquet at Snowbird). This excursion does not overlap with any conference talks. Free to participants and their guests. Round-trip time approximately 4 hours.
