Graduate Program

  • Housing

Housing is available for graduate students on Campus. The graduate residence system offers a variety of housing options. Many graduate students enjoy living in Crothers Hall, which is the graduate student dormitory; or in the Rains Houses and the Escondido Village apartments, both of which house single students, married students and students with children; or in the Row House which offers co-op housing arrangements. Once you have been admitted to Stanford, the Stanford Housing Center will send you complete information on campus housing. If you prefer to live off campus, the Rental Office maintains a list of rentals available in the neighboring towns of Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Mountain View. They are all within biking distance from Campus. Parts of Palo Alto and Menlo Park are also accessible via the Campus shuttle services.
